Taahira Siddiqui, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Digestive Disease Consultants of Orange County, specializing in both inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bay Path University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara. Her clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based medicine and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Taahira’s dedication to gastroenterology is deeply personal, shaped by the loss of her father to colon cancer, a diagnosis made when she was six years old and which profoundly influenced her path into medicine. As both a GI patient herself and someone who has supported a family member through serious illness, she brings a uniquely empathetic perspective to her work. This background drives her to advocate for her patients, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
Taahira is passionate about culturally competent care that meets the diverse needs of the Orange County community which she is honored to serve. She is especially committed to education, believing that an informed patient is a healthier patient, and strives to make complex topics understandable and actionable.
Outside of her clinical practice, Taahira enjoys weightlifting, sewing, backpacking, and trying out new recipes.
